Drum and Bass
I have been mixing drum and bass after hearing an absolutely awesome DJ Hype set featuring MC MC and MC GQ at Helter Skelter, Sanctuary, Milton Keynes, 6th August 1996. I remember it like my birthday!
Although I dabble in most genres, this has been my main style of mixed music since that first introductory moment to the genre. So Mr Hype, I thank you!
You'll find a mix of some dark, some funky, but mostly melodic rollers with a little bit of scratching thrown in for good measure.

Aphrodite is very responsible for keeping me hooked on dnb in the very early stages and I proudly shout that from the rooftops. I therefore dedicate this to the big man upstairs. I didn't realise quite how much of a Stalker I must appear when I dug out all my records and found I have over 30 x 12"s. And haven't bought anything for a good few years (2002 ish). As he partners with Micky Finn to create Urban Takeover they qualify for this mix as well. You learn summat new every day don't you?!
Some poor scratching around the 58 minute mark so please ignore that - I didn't realise there was a clean sample further in the record - Doh!
And there's some swearing on the Funky Sh*t tune - so fick urf if you aren't old enough to tolerate bad language and don't download it.
Go and tell Mummy you aren't allowed to use the PC for "Homework" anymore.
