Live Hip Hop Mashups

Within this top section there has been no jiggery-pokery with the use of computers apart from to trim the beginning and end of the original file with only the normalisation function being used to get optimal volume level for the finished sound file.

Live mashups are done on Technics 1210's withan accapella and an instrumental, one on each deck. It is then mixed live just using the mixer to fade and add scratches etc. where I felt like it.

I have sampled at a rate of 192kbs which some may say is too high for those dial up users. I apologise for this but its a vast improvement over the poor quality streaming files of djmandrick.co.uk which didn't do them any justice. Most people know someone with a broadband connection these days so I hope this won't cause any inconveniences.
